Analysis of Workplace Mental Health Programs in Organizations
Researcher: Jean-Pierre Brun (U. Laval)
Work-related mental health problems have become a great concern and many organizations want to develop in-house programs to prevent them. Currently, very little is known about local initiatives taken by organizations to manage mental health in the workplace. The aim of this study is to examine the prevention of mental ill-health in the workplace, focusing on the organizational dimensions that can help to improve mental health. As part of this action research, an inventory of internal practices related to the prevention of mental ill-health in the workplace is developed, as well as a best practice guide.
